DiST® Family of EC and TDS Testers
HI98301 · HI98302 · HI98303 · HI98304 · HI98311 · HI98312
Each model tests conductivity (EC) or total dissolved solids (TDS) at the high and low range. With an ergonomic profile and waterproof design, these testers are perfect for quick field use. The HI98311 (DiST®5) and HI98312 (DiST®6) puts more testing power in your hands with testers that measure both EC and TDS at the same time. A replaceable electrode means your tester will last longer.
SHOP THE DIST LINEWhy Choose a Conductivity Tester?
Testers can perform on the spot measurements quickly, accurately, and inexpensively. They allow users with different backgrounds and technical training to make readings without the need of a laboratory or having to purchase expensive and complex analytical equipment.
What is electrical conductivity?
Electrical conductivity is a useful measurement in a variety of industries, applications, and situations. Knowing exactly what electrical conductivity (EC) is, probe options, proper measurement techniques, and how to give probes a bit of TLC when they need it can jump-start your testing.

HI98308 · HI98309
These testers are ideal when measuring conductivity in water that have been purified by reverse osmosis, de-ionization, or distillation.
The Pure Water Test (PWT) - HI98308 measures in the range of 0.0 to 99.9 µS/cm.
For the smallest traces of water contamination, the Ultra Pure Water (UPW) - HI98309 measures in the range of 0.000 to 1.999 µS/cm.
Portable Meters for Superior Field Results
Portable meters are the perfect solution for professionals who need more function than a tester but still need to test while on the go. With advanced features and increased durability, handheld meters can help solve your testing needs when in the field or on the production floor.
99 Series EC/TDS Portable Meters
HI99300 · HI99301
These 99 Series Conductivity/TDS Meters make precision measurements simple. An IP67 body and two-button design make these handheld meters ideal for water quality testing in the manufacturing and environmental industries.
To increase precision, these models feature different conductivity ranges, to cover applications from purified to brackish waters.
HI9819x Professional Meters
For times when you need the power of a benchtop in a portable meter, the HI9819X series is the best solution. IP67 casing, quick connect probes, and logging capabilities make this the best companion for testing on the go. Both portables measure EC, TDS, Resistivity and three salinity scales and can perform all stages of the USP <645> method.
Benchtop Meters
Made for testing at a single location, benchtop meters come in a wide range of sizes and capabilities. Those who want a more basic, rugged benchtop meter can select from our HI2000 series. Those who prefer a more advanced, customizable meter can view the HI6000 series. No matter the application or industry, our team at Hanna continuously strives to bring you elegant, professional testing solutions.
