SMITHFIELD, RI _ (April 24, 2012) Hanna Instruments is proud to announce the HI 9829, its newest Portable GPS Multiparameter Meter. This meter has the ability to test over a dozen water quality parameters and comes equipped with a field replaceable ISO 7027 compliant turbidity sensor, ammonium, chloride, and nitrate ISE’s, as well as logging capabilities from the probe or meter.
This meter has a backlit LCD screen that automatically sizes the digits and allows full configuration of each parameter measured, units and language selection and on-screen graphing. Combined with one of the HI 76x9829 series probes, the HI 9829 can measure water quality parameters such as pH, ORP, conductivity, turbidity, temperature, ions ammonium, nitrate, chloride, dissolved oxygen, resistivity, TDS, salinity, and seawater. Each parameter is fully supported by the on-screen context sensitive help both in the calibration mode and during measurements.
For monitoring and recording data, HI 9829 is equipped with Hanna’s exclusive Fast Tracker, Tag Identification System (T.I.S.). iButton s with unique ID numbers can be installed at various sampling sites and are used to record specific location information when logging, that can be easily transferred to a PC.
